Cover reveal: A Court of Mist and Fury, by Sarah J. Maas

Yayyy, here’s another cover reveal, bookish people!

No, I have never read Sarah J. Maas’s books, but I do have two copies of Throne of Glass (one in english and one is the Portuguese edition that I really had to buy because OMG, it looks GOOD!) and I also have a hardback edition of A Court of Thorns and Roses. I really want to read these two books this month.

Moving on, let’s talk about the A Court of Mist and Fury’s cover. Yes, it was revealed today. Yes, many people love it, and there are some people that aren’t sure if they love it or not. The thing is: I haven’t read A Court of Thorns and Roses yet, so I don’t know what this sequel will be about. I mean, I have read the synopsis (yes, I know, maybe there are spoilers, but I read it anyway) and I think it’s going to be a very interesting book. After all, I have the first one on my shelf, unread. Oh, damn, I really have to read the first book this month!

Ok, I’m writing too much again, so let’s talk about Sarah J. Maas. She got super famous after she published Throne of Glass, which is the first book of her Fantasy series, Throne of Glass. So far, it has 4 books, but it will have 6 in total, according to Goodreads. She is known for writing badass female characters and lovely male characters that makes us swoon. Also, she is very friendly and loves to share things on her social media, like Twitter and Instagram. Now, she has another Fantasy story, which is A Court of Thorns and Roses. It’s a retelling of “Beauty and the Beast” and it’s the first book of her new trilogy. Yes, it’s not a series, it will only have three books. This first book was a huge success! There is still much hype around it and people are excited to read the sequel, A Court of Mist and Fury.

Here’s the author, Sarah J. Maas, and the first book of her trilogy. This edit is not mine.

I think the first thing that was revelead about this new book was the synopsis and the title, right? Well, here’s the Goodreads synopsis:

“Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court–but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms–and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future–and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.”

It is believed that this sequel will be a retelling of the story of Hades and Persephone, which I really like! I mean, I love any mythology story.

But, now… LET’S APPRECIATE THE COVER:

A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)

BLUEEEEE! I LOVE BLUE COVERS! And, yes, I’m one of those people who loves this cover! I love the details, although I haven’t read the first book yet.

Oh, yes, I really have to read the first book this month!

A Court of Mist and Fury is going to be released on May 3rd 2016. It’s going to have 640 pages.

Do you like the cover? By the way, if you have read the first book, did you like it?
