Before I talk about the books I got today, let’s talk about a book that I actually got on April 5th. Yes, I honestly don’t know why I didn’t post something here about it…. Anyway, at the beginning of this month, I finally got the hardcover of Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo!!!
As many of you know (I guess), Leigh Bardugo is mostly known as the author of The Grisha trilogy. Neverthless, many of her fans now say that their favorite book of hers is Six of Crows! Seriously, this book is full of positive reviews. Even though I don’t have the second and third books of her trilogy, I really had to buy her newest novel. And Book Depository saved my life because, one day, I looked up their prices and the hardback, which usually costs 17€, cost 12€ that day! HELL YEAH!!!!
It’s such a pity that I can only read it after May because, you know… College…
Anyway, here’s its synopsis:
“Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…
A convict with a thirst for revenge.
A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.
A runaway with a privileged past.
A spy known as the Wraith.
A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.
A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.
Kaz’s crew are the only ones who might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first.”
